The whole of last year I tried to convince myself that exercise wasn’t needed to keep up a good figure and to just be generally healthy. I did minor exercises at home and tried to start back at the gym, in all fairness I actually did last a while!

I adopted walking at least about 5 or 6 miles a day and doing various suggested concoctions on the internet i.e. drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with water to burn belly fat…..  belly didn’t go no where looool.

But…..late last year, I really understood the importance of health and maintaining a good diet. Historically, I have lost and gained, lost and gained, and lost and gained….as you can imagine it has taken a toll on my body which has actually had enough now lol.

I decided to really start looking after my health and make sure I eat the right things and get in the right amount of exercise for the sake of my health first, and also to feel good in my own skin.

But I have to ask….does anyone else find they become much more hungry once they start being more active?? Honestly, sometimes food is the one thing that keeps me excited about the day!! Please tell me I am not the only one?!

  1. You’re definitely not the only one! It’s all the energy burn but I would recommend meal prepping before you exercise so you don’t eat what you’re craving in that moment. You will fill up on junk and all that effort would have been a waste of time, energy and motivation.

    Personally, I don’t notice no belly ? But I understand you have a visual goal of where you would like your body to be. I sure do ? We will get there ☺️
